421 Club · effective October 19, 2026
421 Club is a dice game. No account, no ads, no tracking. We only keep what's needed for your friends to see you online (see “Friends online and activity”).
Your name, avatar or profile photo, settings, stats, achievements, game history, stakes and the cards you write in Party mode are stored only on your iPhone.
If iCloud is turned on, this data is also copied to your private iCloud space so you can find it on your other devices. That space belongs to your Apple Account: we can't access it. You can turn it off in Settings › your name › iCloud.
Online games, invites, the leaderboards (your ranking points among friends, in France and worldwide) and achievements use Game Center, a service run by Apple. During an online game, your Game Center nickname and your moves are sent to the other players at the table. This is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
So your Game Center friends can see you “Online” or “In a game” and receive your challenges, the app stores in 421 Club's public iCloud database your Game Center player ID, nickname, ranking points, status and the time of your last visit. A leaderboard entry (nickname, points, France or not) is also kept there, so the leaderboard works even when Game Center doesn't respond.
When you challenge or invite a friend, a small message (who sent it, to whom, the kind of invite and the table code) is stored there; it is deleted after 3 days. Your friend code is also published there with your player ID and nickname, so your friends can add you; when someone adds you, a small message lets you know. This information is visible to other 421 Club players and is used only to make these features work. It is never sold, shared or used for advertising.
To play with several phones in the same room, the app uses the local network (Wi-Fi or Bluetooth) to send moves directly between phones. Nothing goes over the internet.
If you pick a profile photo, only that photo is read. The app can't see the rest of your library.
Chips are virtual and have no value outside the app. You can buy chips, dice and tables with App Store in-app purchases: payment is handled entirely by Apple, and we never see your card or your identity. Stakes are just free text that stays on your phone.
The app isn't meant for children and doesn't collect any data about them.
During a game with friends (nearby or with a table code), a small thumbnail of your profile photo is sent to the other players at the table so they can recognize you. It is never sent in Quick Match, to strangers, and is not stored anywhere else. You can turn this off in Réglages › Montrer ma photo à mes potes.
In the app, Réglages › Mes données › Supprimer mes données erases your profile, photo, stats, chips, history, iCloud backup, online profile, leaderboard entry and the invites you sent. Deleting the app also erases everything on the phone. iCloud copies can be deleted in Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage › 421 Club.
